Barry S. Diamond

Barry is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in arbitration consulting, local community services, and entrepreneurship training. He served as a Senior Managing Member of Arbitration International from 1980 to 2010. During these years, he also made significant contributions to the communities of Trumbull through roles in the Rotary Club, Economic Development Commission, Library Board, and the Cable Advisory Commission. He took initiative and founded Trumbull’s Own Chamber of Commerce in 2000.

In 2012, Barry embraced a new path focused on helping others find their footing after incarceration. As the Director of Reentry Job Readiness Education Programs at Recovery Networks, he has been instrumental in setting up job readiness initiatives and running clothing drives.

​

Barry's drive led him to originate reentrysurvivors.com, where he tells success stories of reentry survivors as a means to inspire others and change attitudes in society. His passion for supporting reentrance into society extends to his role as the President Elect of the Better Business Bureau in the state of Connecticut and overseeing the Bridgeport Reentry Program at Career Resources.

In 2013, Barry also created the P.R.I.D.E. Program (People Reentering Into Doing Entrepreneurship) which trains individuals in cities like Bridgeport, New Haven, Hartford and even across international locations in Africa. In addition, Barry has brought entrepreneurship training to the University of Bridgeport in 2021.

Barry is a visionary leader who continually challenges the status quo, demonstrated by his thought-provoking questions about societal norms, the natural laws of physics, and the role of faith in leading to personal success. He is a graduate of Queens College with a background in Accounting and Business Psychology.

With his expertise and commitment, Barry has become a beacon of hope for many individuals seeking a chance to change their lives after incarceration.
